Great for pop out cards, all the prep is done ! Simple shapes work best, draw half the shape along an edge, cut out then glue both sides to the centre fold of your card

For decorations, use 2 pieces; draw the half shape on a straight edge of the paper and a piece of card, adding cardboard will give it more stability.  join the two pieces together with a string down the centre to give you a point to hang from.
